Deployment clasp for ROO, worth it?

I’ve dropped my 15720st a couple times over the past year. For those who have coughed up the $$$ for deployment clasp, would you say it was worth it? Thank you for your feedback.

Yes, although I don't know what the cost is these days. The AP deployment buckle has always treated me well

I agree. A bit pricey, but really nice.

100% recommended.
It's my default after getting it and has prevented my 43mm offshore from falling off my wrist when wearing it.

I had the 43mm offshore fall off my wrist while strapping the tang buckle, luckily it was on carpeted flooring.

The new deployment is super comfortable as well.

I paid around $1600 last year, including tax in socal. It’s definitely worth it, although admittedly really expensive

I paid right around $1600 as well. Sold the 43mm ROO though… still have the clasp if anyone’s looking.
Regardless, definitely worth while!

Is the deployant the same for both the latest diver and chrono?

Anyone have any pics of the deployment? I am curious of the design as well, especially the "blades"

I assume it has the same quick release design as the pin buckle and only works on the quick release straps?

There is a picture of the current clasp. I am glad they went with one the nest together, instead of the double stack of the old version with the "AP" logo for the blades.

While we are here....can I just point out how amazing the 26424bc-zz would be with a ceramic bezel instead of diamond? I get it, then the only difference from the SS model are the red hands.

I just REALLY want a monochromatic 43mm ROO (or I guess bi-chromatic? Grey and Silver, black and silver....something that would go with any strap color). I wonder if I could get a hand set from the 26424bc-zz (or the taupe 43)....lol. I would totally have the red changed out.
