Looking at an 15300 - no box / papers

I've tried the 15400 in the past and found that too large, but I keep coming back to the RO shape and can't get it out of my mind. I think the 39mm 15300 would be more up my alley, as the 15450 might be a tad too small.

I've got a dealer offering a mint (they say) 15300 with no box and papers for $29,000. What are the thoughts on this? I'm usually a box and papers guy but I'm going towards not paying the extra money for it since I won't be wearing the B&P...this time.

15300 is the best watch out there in my opinion for a daily AP. FWIW I paid $30,000 for this one a few months back in like new condition with 2021 AP service, box and papers.

What year is the 15300 you're looking at? Any photos?

Watch is from 2012 and I think get a wrist shot from the dealer - it looks great.

Wow, never really gave a thought to the 300 but I must say these wrist shots and the proportions of the watch are impeccable. This coming from a 400 owner.

Oh got here too late, hope you got an extra discount from the dealer when the deal was confirmed, considering 2012 & no box/papers

It’s a really great watch. I got mine a few years ago and love it. The first thing i did when getting it was put it in for a service with AP.

Congrats!
I meant to reply to this yesterday

I have a 15400 and it is a little big sometimes, but does ultimately feel awesome on the wrist.
About 10 years ago I tried on a 15300 white dial and it is what set me off on getting an AP a goal. I put a deposit on it, but after a couple days I took my deposit back. It was $12,750 so hindsight hurts... (I was in my mid 20's and $12,750 was a lot to me then).
It fit like a dream on my 7" wrist.
I'm sure you'll love yours.

To answer your other thread. You can definitely daily it. I'd make sure it's been pressure tested and keeps pretty good/consistent time and then just let it rip. It'll scratch and all that, but from 3 feet away it'll still look great. Plus, AP Clearwater is great to work with when service time comes.

For me, when I'm somewhere that I don't want to flash a YG DD40, but want to wear a nicer piece I reach for the Royal Oak.
Again, congrats and I'm sure we're all looking forward to your great pictures
