Pretend Auction

I have an idea for the forum. Maybe we can hold 'mock' auctions for our watches. It would only work if people on the forum only place 'fake bids' that they would really offer in real life. Without breaking any rules of the forum, we can only post watches that we don't really want to sell. This way we can get an idea of how much these watches 'might' sell for if they were put on the market. As others have said, they are only worth what someone is willing to pay. And this fluctuates with the economy. Oh yeah, it has to be your watch. No pics off the web. Good idea?

Short answer no.

Interesting idea, but I don't see it working (or even the point of it) without putting real money on the line.
