Watch box and your collection photo thread

Good thread OP

I recently acquired a new watch box as I was running out of space and needed a few extra slots.

After some online searching found this one from Benson with 12 slots. Not overly expensive at £200 ish, seems well made with a carbon effect leather outer and black velvet like inner.

The cushions are semi soft and fit snugly to the sides of the slots but with space for easy removal and replacement. It’s heavy, has decent hinges and a good quality feel. The latch on the front turns to give secure closure.

All in I’m very happy with it.

And the current collection (I’ve got another box with 7 G Shocks in it but no pictures)

The box was a very affordable one I got in Dubai. Not sure if the brand, but it’s not from Wolf or anything like that. The key thing was to keep my collection easily accessible (as compared to my previous approach of keeping them in their boxes).

As for the collection - that is what is present so far. Shifted a lot into Tudor, which I think offer amazing value. Will get the new BB54 for the wife when I get the call (she’s also into watches, with the Longines, the Omega 300M, the BB58, the Omega SMP, and one of the Tudor Pelagos FXD being in her rotation).

Stay blessed.

I mean it's decent for what's it's worth....but I used to own Scatola del Tempo box before, it's better quality than the Omega and I would recommend that vs. this one

thank you for your comment

Thank you for saying so. I’m looking to fill that last spot with a White Dial 116500, or maybe a 126500. I’m also looking to add a 116518, so one of the Dates will have to go … a work in progress.

I’m really impressed, and pleased, with this Watch Box, after a diligent search …. super high quality, and very good looking in person. It must weigh near 10 pounds … really well built.

I think it’s as good as the Elie Bleu I was looking at, and a better value (IMO) than the $3,000 Elie Bleu.

I don't have a watch box unless you count my safe or bank deposit box.

Great thread...currently using Mirage watch rolls for my collection but want to get a box. My issue with past boxes is with the pillows. I have a 6.5 inch wrist and some of the pillows that some of my past boxes came with did not compress much, to the point where i had to use the Rolex cushions in my box or had to just keep bracelet watches opened. Willing to pay $$$ for the nicer ones (Bosphorus, Rapport, etc) but tough to check out these boxes in person. Any input/advice?
