Yachtmaster - platinum one of one went for over $2m.

Milgauss - this one going for over $2m

Submariner - most expensive barely went for over $1m with no bezel, no papers, and it was polished

Daytona - PN went for over $17m. Also have at least 10 others that have crossed the $1m mark.

Day Date - Rainbow Khanjar day date $1.33m Jack Nicklaus's Day Date $1.22m

GMT - Marlon Brando $1.9m

It's interesting because while we are all very foreign to modern Rolex watches being so crazy in pricing as it currently is. It actually has a long long way to catch up to the vintage Rolexes. They talk about the holy trinity... But in vintage there is only the Rolex Patek Duality.

All this is making a $16,000 stainless daytona look like a no-brainer. A day date at $40k sounds super cheap too.

interesting figures! had not known about the Yachtmaster and GMTs..!

all that said i don't dare to predict which model will become a winner and which not, it's a bit like horse betting...

but i really was astonished that a watch so cool and understated as this Milgauss makes such a splash, at an otherwise rather lukewarm auction

Thanks for showing that. That watch is a dream. Would love a classic appearing, yet modern, Milgauss in that size and spec.
