Rolex 2023

Great experience over lunch hour to try some of these on.
More for the wish list.
And yes I have small wrists.

Where were you able to try these on? Are they exhibition models or part of a tour somewhere. My AD has suggested they won’t get any in for trying.

Thanks for these - good to see some in the U.K I also see that small wrists make the Daytona look a good size!

I still haven’t seen a 1908 either incoming or being tried - I wonder - are they less popular or being distributed later than others…

Was this AD in London? If so, could you share which? I'll be there in less than 2 weeks and would love to go see the new YM. No one has it in Houston.

I understand it's an exhibition piece.

Was part of a “roadshow” style event. Seems like each AD gets the same set of watches for a few days then it moves on to the next AD.

This was the biggest shock for me.
I have a Pelagos 39, the YM was much lighter, very very light. As I say I expected it to be light based on my Tudor but I was shocked.
The bezel was almost silent, very muted click.
Can’t decide if I was shocked in a good or bad way.

They had 1908 in all 3 metals. I didn’t try as it’s not one for me.
Looked classy though.

Did but try as SD is to big for me.
Blue on rose was lovely. The green is the same as the DJ green it seems to me.

Like I said above.
This is a whole other animal. You cannot compare this in look or feel to anything imho.
I loved the bezel, was similar to the YM flat black (maybe the same). Dial was great in a flat black.

This was the biggest shock for me.
I have a Pelagos 39 (I was wearing it today before and after the AD visit), the YM was much lighter, very very light. As I say I expected it to be light based on my Tudor but I was shocked. A lot of people in my view will not like the feel. I am open minded to it, but for sure for some people it will be a hard no on the first time they pick it up.
The bezel was almost silent, very muted click. I had to check that’s was normal and not due to it being a “roadshow” piece.
Can’t decide if I was shocked in a good or bad way.
