Juneau Alaska Uber Lyft or taxis??? Anyone been lately?

Hello does anyone have recent experience in Juneau as a tourist trying to get around? Are Uber or Lyft services plentiful/reliable? How about taxis? We’ll be there for a few days in mid July, and trying to determine how we can get around, including for early morning transport to the airport.

Thanks all

We used Uber in Juneau a couple years ago. No problems.

Post trip update:

Can confirm Uber and Lyft are NOT reliable. If the cruise ships are in, they are tied up running those folks to various day trips. You can schedule pick ups with the cab companies, or get lucky with an Uber.

Plug for the Silverbow inn if you’re looking for hotels. Excellent downtown location but off the main path.

Cab or pre arranged car for sure. Not to mention, it covers a very large area even though it’s remote. So an Uber drop on one side of town might literally be 40 miles away.
