Tudor BB36/39

hello!

I want to add a Tudor black bay 36 or 39 to my collection.

Do you know what the difference in dial size is?
Thank you so much

Super wild guess, but I'd say 3 millimeters.

Go to an AD and try them both on. See which looks and feels better on your wrist. I have the 39, and like it very much. It ain’t broke, so I’m not gonna fix it…

The black bay 36 = 36mm.
The black bay 39 = 39mm.

Now it seems easy. But the black bay 58 is 39mm. Someone at Tudor was having a laugh.

Thank you all, I know that the size of the watch is 39, I mean the inner sphere without bezel, for example the BB58 is 31mm

Tudor BB36/39

What is with you guys being less than kind? Watch diameter and dial size are 2 different measurements. I think this person just doesn’t know model names. I’m guessing he’s trying to decide between the BB58 and the BB54. That was my assumption. A lot of BB58 owners are second guessing their choice, after the 54 release, including me. After mulling it over, the 58 has more wrist presence, and is a prettier watch, the 54 a tad bland, IMO. I’ll keep my 58. I wouldn’t like the smaller crown, either.

He knows the model names. The website doesn’t list the dial diameter, but, in side by side images, the BB36 and BB39 look proportionately similar. So the dial width of the 39 is likely about 3 mm greater than the 36. Those are great watches with the jubilee-like bracelet. Just got my daughter a 31.

Dial size difference doesn’t always calibrate with case size difference. Play nicely people

The confusion brought about by the seemingly esoteric naming conventions was the point I was making.
