Brand loyalty
I have a problem of finding a brand that I like and sticking with it to the point of going a little overboard. This tends to happen with clothing for me.
Out of 27 polo style shirts, 24 of them are Lacoste. Anyone else with a similar problem? |

Here's my weakness . . . LV. Brand new SC bag, cross between Keepall & Speedy. As far as clothes, I'm pretty much a khakis, oxford shirt and loafers person, always have been, and have also been a loyal LL Bean customer for years and years. (I also like Brooks Brothers and Lands End.)

For me, I've always stuck with - van Hausen shirts, Hugo Boss suits, Ralph Lauren or Lacoste for casuals, Levis jeans, Floresheim work shoes, Rockport for casual shoes, and Jockey undies

Me being OCD is an established fact.
The Lacoste shirts was just an example. I could have taken a photo of my sock drawer and all your would see is Smartwool. My friends think I need to diversify my brands. The problem is when I start to diversify, I do the same thing all over again. A good example would be me buying Marmot for jackets and coats for years until I got into Arc'teryx and that is all I buy now. |

I tend to diversify and sample different brands of the same product. However, I tend to purchase two of the same item IF I like it alot. Very bad habit, I must admit.

Yes, I went through my Burberry phrase a few years ago with slim sport dress shirts. I pretty much gave them away to my younger cousin when I gained 40 lbs. I just have a few polo style shirts and sweaters left-over from my Burberry days. I am now into Robert Talbort or custom dress shirts. Man...I've spent a lot of money on clothes over the years.

Interesting! I used to like Lacoste polo shirts. But now I have about 5 pairs of their pima cotton T-shirts. Too hot to wear polos in FL heat.

The only brand in clothing that I have purchased over many years is the Levi brand of blue jeans but I do not own 10 -20 pairs. Otherwise I'm not a clothes person!!!
Now for my Pepsi I have also bought the Coke bezel insert and plan on buying the black bezel insert as well..... Also I would like to own about 10 more models of rolex, does this count...

Question, do you buy all of them at once or at separate times?

Patagonia for outdoor active wear. You simply cannot wear it out.
Filson for durable outdoor work wear, and stuff I wear on colder days in the factory. Patagonia also for boxer shorts and all insulation layers (long underwear). The silk weight poly material they use is very durable, and feels great. Asics for running shoes. I usually have 4-6 pairs at once, worn in rotation. Red Wing for work boots. I have three pairs that I wear in rotation, and the sum of their age is probably 30 years. Great boots! Lucchese for cowboy boots, or sh*t kickers, whichever term you prefer. Levis & Carhartt for jeans.

We have a 72 Buick, 87 Buick 88 Chevy, 2002 Chevy 2 - 2006 Dodge, and a 2009 Jeep on the way :) I think thats pretty good brand loyalty :) |

Thank you, Karis, it was one of those things that as soon as I laid eyes on it, I fell in love with it.

I could see how somebody could claim I am loyal to a certain brand.
