Jewelry Insurance

I'm looking for jewelry insurance for both a watch and engagement ring. I've seen lots of suggestions while searching through old threads. However I'd love some firsthand info of how these companies operate when it comes time to pay up. Anyone have the (unfortunate) experience of having to file a claim? What company, and how did it turn out?

I am also curious if anyone has had first hand experience with a Renters insurance or Jewelry insurance company.. Onkyo, by good things, what do you mean in regards to your recommendation?
