A question about moon phase

Hi,

I have a JLC master ultra thin perpetual calendar which has a moon phase on the dial. I have a question about the watch moon phase and would like to see if I can get some valuable experience sharing here.

I live in Asia and I found that the watch moon phase was showing full moon on 1 Aug, but in fact when I check with my local moon phase schedule, full moon should.be 2 Aug.

I also tried to search online and it was showing the full moon in UK should be on 1 Aug.

I am not familiar with how moon phase calendar work. Will the full moon schedule differ depending on location? Is my watch showing European full moon schedule and not matching with my local Asia full moon schedule?

Or my watch is accurate?

Thanks in advance.

And your movement is pre-set, isn't it? Can you even change the moon phase independently? If so, I would just set it to your calendar.
