Icon7 Which Dial Day-Date 40 in YG?

May be getting my first, hopefully only, DD sooner than I thought. Not sure if I've attached the pictures correctly, but it is between the DD40 YG Champagne dial w/ Deconstructed Roman Numerals and the DD40 YG Champagne dial w/ Baguette Diamonds. I'm 100% certain I want YG. 70% certain I want the 40. But 50/50 between the two dials. Would love to hear from owners and those who've debated between the two.

Champagne on YG is monochromatic particularly on the 40. A lot of nice things have been said about the white Romans/YG for contrast and legibility.

I would normally say Baguettes. But since you are set on the Champagne dial, I vote Romans.

FWIW, I don't think Lume should be on an all-gold watch (yes I know the DD is 75% Gold, but my opinion stands).

I have the white dial, but if I were to have gone gold dial I think the diamond hour markers look best

I had it in champagne with the baguettes. I honestly did not love it and regretted not getting white romans; it has since been sold. If I had gotten it in black with the baguettes, I would probably still be enjoying it.

With Baguette markers it has to be black dial for me. Green laquer dial w/romans is my preference.

Thank you for all your contributions. Had to really dig deep with this one, but I think I’m in the Roman camp now. Time to go try on the Champagne Stick DD36 just to be absolutely sure (7” wrist, I can pull off the 40, but a small part of me romanticizes the classic DD proportions), but I suspect we have a winner, however slight. Thanks again.

My choice would be the new silver batons dial first. Second choice is baguettes. Really dislike the romans.

After I saw the picture above, I have to say that the diamond hour markers is the winner.

I like both but the picture of the diamond dial is strong.
