Anyone on Medicare use a semaglutide drug?
It appeared that Rybelsus, Ozempic, Mounjaro, etc. cost around $900/ month. Medicare doesn’t cover it. Anyone know if there is a coupon or other price reduction techniques?

Unfortunately not. These are branded specialty tier products (tier 4 or 5). Medicare rarely approves tier reductions for these products as it costs them money and also sets a precedence.
Coupons won’t work w government funded programs. Really only assistance is based off income. Btw $900 tells me medicare does cover it. These medications have a WAC well above $1000. It’s just not affordable that’s all. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
