LUC GMT One Black
I’ve seen the non limited version get some attention on the internet, but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of reviews/hands on for the titanium LE.
It’s been a really solid wearing watch for me! I was clueless about the LUC line until last year until I went to an event Chopard held with one of their watchmakers. The lack of a more 3286 styled movement and better waterproofing are a bummer, but the mix of monochromatic tones, ceramised titanium, and traditional case shaping really give it a unique balance of sport/elegance. Plus, 250 seems like a fairly limited number of pieces overall. Don’t have my own pics but will try and get a few up as the PR photos don’t really get the nice dimension of the dial finishing or all of the little touches of the movement finishing. Tried to post an article but my post count is too low at the moment. |

I had one of these on my radar a while back but could never find a place that had one in stock to try on, so would love to see some real world photos, thanks!

Tried to get the circles engraved around the dial and movement finishing. It can appear very muted at times but the little details come out in nice ways I think. The world timer is also great but I liked the stark simplicity of the GMT. |

Thanks for those. Strap looks on the thicker side - does it add much bulk?

Not to me. It wears extremely light for one and it hugs my wrist so the whole appearance is quite sleek. The Hodinkee shop has an on wrist picture that’s pretty representative of my experience looking in a mirror. Watchbox/T. Mosso has a good video as well! Nice bonus in my opinion is that due to the nature of the metal they’ve used it still essentially looks new to my eyes and has stood up to a couple dings and traveling. I think it’s AR coating is also underside only but haven’t gotten solid info on that. |

Nice piece! I have the ultra rare ceramised titanium Bathyscaphe. I really like ceramised titanium. Has a cool matte effect to it. Enjoy your LUC!

Amazing! I’m with you on the effect CT has. Was definitely not looking to get a watch when I got this, but the effect of the metal was very unique and it can go from muted to quite striking when the dials have some dimension (like yours or the LUC). |
