Hot fresh Parmigiani with a side of Grand Seiko

Friday I received a double incoming - a two month old Tonda GT and a GS SBGR299, also preowned. Purchased through exquisitetimepieces.com. I was treated great, got a great price on both, they even included this really nice watch roll.

As for the watches, my 11yr old son looked at the Parmigiani for about 10 seconds and said "Dad, please never get rid of this watch." It is so nice, the bracelet wears like silk. The double date aperture is unique to my collection. Very pleased.

I finally found a GS that will stick. I have owned two others in the past, never had a serious issue with either, one the bracelet was just a bit too thin for my liking and the other the dial color just didn't really work for me. I am a tall type and the 42mm on this one suits me very well. I also really like the all brushed bracelet.

Just waiting on my aqua Ingenieur and I think that is going to put a lid on the collection.

Not sure the GS would get much wrist time with that Tonda GT if I was the <fortunate> owner!

Great choice with the Parmigiani. You are one of the few who understand. Wear them both in good health!
