New to me datejust 26mm - Norfolk, UK

Hi everyone,

A few years ago my Dad passed away and left his classic car to me. Sadly I wasn’t able to look after it due to ill health. After selling it I decided I wanted to buy a keepsake with the money instead. I’ve wanted a Rolex for ages, so took the plunge the other day on a visit to Hatton Garden.

I knew I wouldn’t get anything new for the money but I’m super happy with what I got, and I even was able to treat my mum to one too. I have exceptionally small wrists so a 69173 26mm gold and steel jubilee with a diamond set champagne dial was perfect for me, and a 68273 31mm gold and steel jubilee with a striped champagne dial ideal for my mum.

Considering the watches are only slightly newer in age than I am, they’ve definitely faired much better than I have

You're welcome -- is the dial in fact a Mother Of Pearl?

No it’s a champagne dial with diamond markers. I would upload a photo but I can’t until I’ve made 10 posts sadly

Firstly, condolences for your loss. Congratulations on your watch, would be great to see some pictures of it at some point. The Tapatalk App is a good way of being able to do this by the way.

I’ve just realised I can actually post a photo, and yes my watch does have the same colour dial as yours :) please excuse the poor photos, these were from the day we purchased our watches and when we went out to dinner to celebrate 🎉
