Which brand in this tier of luxury watches provide timepieces worth buying?

Girard-Perregaux, Jaquet Droz, MB&F, Graff. Thx

To me the MB&F is the one to get but I’m biased because I’ve been dying to get one myself.

MB&F would only be the one I'd choose from that list.

Pardon my ignorance. What kind of watch does Graff make? The only time I was anywhere close to Graff was the time my wife looking for a ruby...

MB&F used a clean and robust GP movement in the new HM8 Mk2

The new Neo Constant Escapement is very much the same tier as MB&F, lots of their other offerings as well.

GP history dates back to 1791 and they make some really nice watches. My Laureato has become one of my favorites within my collection

MB&F is in a league of its own…. GP doesn’t have creative genius to compete although is proficient horoligicaly. If you think of three bridges tourbillon, hard to find a better executed mechanical watch. However, for the money, I would take MB&F.

Is MB&F that much better than GP?

I'm looking at these watches which I would classify as below AP, PP, VC, Richard Mille and Jacob & Co.

There was a poster named Grand Style, maybe you should ask him, since you have exactly the same "taste" and exactly the same posting style...

He likes niche brands too? Cool

Noone is talking about Jaquet Droz. How do they compare?

Doesn't have the creative genius?

I'd say this is pretty creative and genius.

I'd say this is pretty creative and genius.
https://www.girard-perregaux.com/usa_en/men.html

Besides 28 iterations of Laureato and other less than creative iterations of stayed designs, could you point me to the creative side of offering (I spoke of three bridges). Now do the same exercise with MB&F and perhaps my comment on MB&F creative genius would make sense to u.

There is nothing wrong with GP, it ain’t MB&F though..,,

This is the best list so far. Perhaps throw in De Bethune as well.
