Im traveling and hoping to go to a local dealer today to look at these.
No experience/ knowledge but like the look. Is there one to buy or ask for? How do they hold their value?

Every BP is a masterpiece in finish and execution. Buy the one that you like. I went for the basic steel one and am extremely happy with my purchase.

They hold value like Breitling, Omega, Glashütte Original, Grand Seiko, etc. It's a brand for the enthusiast. The 'investor/collector' has AP, PP and of course Rolex.

I love mine, reasonably accurate, a grand complication at a decent price.
The lume is particularly bright and lasts all night, no stretch what so ever on the bracelet.
It tics all the boxes.

Tried these out today. Very proud of myself for not buying. Thought choice between the titanium and the ceramic Bathyscaphe

Have the FF in titanium. Love this watch, just want to put the deployant clasp on it now.

congratulations! how are the pricing like on these LEs nowadays? The Milspec versions (this and the Hodinkee one) are pretty attractive!

Glad to see a fellow owner of a Leman Perpetual Calendar Chrono, a grand complication for a fraction of what a comparable Patek is worth. I like to wear mine on the OEM crocodile strap.

Thanks a lot for saying that, I am not a 'thread starter' kind of person but I really felt we needed a BP picture thread so I gathered all the courage that I had and started it . Turns out it was needed seeing all these posts in just a few days. Your compliment makes my day

Great thread! I’ve been considering a fifty fathoms for awhile, but still haven’t made up my mind. Yesterday tried the Act3, looks pretty good, but having a hard time digesting the price

Is that the rose gold and grey dial fifty fathoms? How did it look in person? I've not seen one in the flesh yet; however I have had my eye on one online for a while!

Did it come on a white sailcloth too?

Can't add anything but really considering buying a 50 fathoms in steel, probably on a steel bracelet

Lovely thread and some very special watches. I've had mine coming up 18 months and I still find details I've not noticed before.
