Hello from New Hampshire
New to the Rolex world, I just inherited my wife's grandfather's 1505 Oyster perpetual date born 2/1971. It had been locked up in a safe deposit box since 1979, liberated just last month. He had bought it in Jamaica in either 1971 or 1972.
It runs like a champ, but I'll still have it serviced as it most likely has never been done. Originally a 2 tone oyster bracelet, I put a replica band on it until I can find 2 folded links to extend the original band to fit my 8.25" wrist. Greg |
