Rolex Daytona on women. Is it acceptable?

Greetings to all. Yesterday, I have picked up my new 126503 from AD. I asked specifically for white dial and for exactly what I was waiting for. The watch is superb!

When returned back home, it appeared that 126503 Daytona looks quite good on my wife. I forced her to try. Then we had a long discussion if this watch is acceptable for women to wear. My wife has small wrist and normally wears 28 and 31 DJ.

What do you think and do your wifes normally wears TT Daytonas. I have 116500 LN and think it would look good, if we wear them together during vacation or while going to the restaurant.

Such a bizarre question and even more bizarre forcing your watch to wear it.

This might blow your mind. https://instagram.com/on.her.own.tim...NiYzNiMzkwZA==

I think the Daytona looks better on women. A lot of the references are actually quite feminine

It’s very common in HK. It’s a good sized watch for a girl.

If it's acceptable to the person wearing it, it's acceptable.

My wife currently rotates the ceramic Pepsi, s/g Zenith Daytona and my Kermit.
Used to wear 26, then 31 and now 40.

Defining such objects by gender is really really ridicolous. Like people saying Dj 36 mm is for woman or rosegold feminine, etc.
Welcome to 2023, folks

It will work for her. It is a fashion accessory and the sizes on watches can vary.

The lady on the account seems to have quite a big wrist. All men’s watched looks ok on her. Something which is bizarre for you, may not be bizarre in other cultures. Despite how is sounds is to accept to try (1) men’s watches and (2) 40 mm when she wears 28 and 31 DJ.

I agree. Very common in HK and I personally think that ladies wear it well, even on small wrists, because it is less bulkier than the other usual suspects that I can spot on them on a daily basis e.g. Submariner, Sea-weller, GMT, Panerai, etc.

Very fashionable for women to wear a Daytona. My female SA wears a YG on OF and I noticed another SA wear a full YG on Oyster bracelet… was also at a Christmas party last year and 2 women were wearing Pandas… and it all looked great on them.

Also tried to sell my wife on us getting a YG on OF for us to share… when she tried it on with smallest setting on glide it was still way too big… so no bueno.

You will be surprised, but Rolex defines them by itself. I thing a man in 28 mm TT Lady DJ will look strange even in 2023 :)

Thanks. I thing my situation is very much the same as yours. When I get 10 posts, I will upload the pictures how TT Daytona seat on her wrist. As for me, it looked superb.

Personally, I don’t like the look of a watch with a large face on a small wrist.

However, I’m not the one wearing it. I think if it’s makes the person wearing it happy, rock on.

OP: I don't think it's a good idea to tell her that these watches look good on her... if you want to wear them in the future... because if you say now that they look at least as good on her as they do on you, then from now on she will wear them all, and you will wear none of them.
