They have a burnout competition every Saturday night, there was no way I was letting the old folks in their shiny pristine classic cars win it...

What's under the bonnet ???? or is it hood over there.

The problem I have here in the UK is that my truck, an F350 Dually, is pretty much bigger than most cars around so if someone pulls up close behind me at a junction or traffic lights I can't see them, the limo tint in the rear doesn't help.

A bit of beans away from the lights one day and got a few hundred yards up the road when I heard the siren

The a severe ticking off from a very nice but very upset policeman who's Ford Focus got filled with a bit of rubber smoke and a lot of sooty diesel smoke, he wasn't a happy camper.

I noticed the bleach too - just wondering why bleach is better to use than water for burnouts?

Smoke!

Going for effect and not traction after the burnout like dragsters. Slippery when wet they say.

The jugs actually just have water in them, I'd never dump bleach on the ground. The organizer of the event brought it along. I dont really need it, but it just helps you break your tires loose. Thats why theres a water box at most drag strips, you roll through it, do your burnout, then stage, but only if you are running slicks on your vehicle.

Under the hood lies a tired 305 V8 engine. I'm saving up for a big block, but the 305 will be getting some attention and will be going back into service until I save for something better....
