Incoming Lefty GMT Sprite, Stellar Nashville AD Experience / First Rolex

Hello,

I can't recommend Fink’s in Nashville (Franklin, TN) high enough.

No major purchase history (I purchased a small pair of earrings for my daughter). First Rolex.

I registered my interest in mid-October and was offered the 126720VTNR GMT a month later with no major purchase history. I have a birthday coming up and was seeking a watch to celebrate.

Backstory: I’m a government employee who moves quite often. This works against me in two ways: ADs assume I won’t be around long enough to recoup their investment, and there are apparent (perceived) salary implications for making several large purchases a year.

So, walking into the AD, as I’ve heard several times before, “Our company (insert company here) wants first-time buyers to be able to purchase the watch they desire.” At this juncture, many newcomers think, “I've heard this before, and it's not going to happen for me.”

Enter Elisia at Finks in Franklin, TN. If you’re in Tennessee or the surrounding area, she will advocate for you (given the basic profile: you’re friendly, respectful, and not planning to flip the watch).

She advocated for me over several weeks, and I was offered the Lefty GMT as my first purchase.

I went to the AD as myself, someone who wanted to purchase their first Rolex. You don’t have to pretend to be something you’re not to receive a watch.

Considering the long waitlist for this Sprite GMT at Finks (and nearly every AD) and my minimal spending history, it's evident that Finks truly stands behind their word.

If you’re a first-time buyer (or 12 watches deep) and near Nashville. Call and ask for Elisia.

Happy Holidays

Nothing wrong with asking but his favored hand is irrelevant. No where in any Rolex literature do they say the VTNR is intended for left-handed people.

I asked a simple binary question of the OP, if anything is irrelevant it’s your response because, as you state, it can be worn on either wrist.

I can’t wait to get mine so I can experience winding it. The unique user experience is what attracts me most to this watch.

And I love Rolex green. And GMTs….

Totally agree. I couldn't care less about the hype. You're right; it's a unique experience.

Congratulations! Exact same experience for me at a different Fink’s location. First Rolex, first purchase with the AD, left-handed, allocated a Sprite GMT in March 2023 after 6 months total and 2 months after indicating serious interest

Congrats on the gorgeous piece! As a fellow Nashville resident can also vouch for how amazing Finks is.. Just purchased a DD40 thru them, and will now be taking all my business there and have already referred them to several others... A whole different experience to the other option in town...

I’m glad to hear about your experience. Too many of us have been waiting years for a purchase from our AD. You made a great choice. Congratulations

I know you didn’t ask this question to suggest the VTNR is for lefties only. I was also curious whether OP is left handed given that he had his choice of model he would like eg BLRO.
Similar to OP, my lefty friends were excited to see such a release from Rolex too.
