GMT2c - too 'tall' to wear with a suit ??

Hi guys,

When I purchase the GMT2c, I will be wearing it every day at work. Is the watch too 'tall' to go under a shirt sleeve? Does it look strange ?

Is the new GMT2c taller than the previous GMT2 model ?

Thanks

Marcus.

I've not found it to be a problem at all.

The real problem is the shirt not the suit

If you happen to get your shirts made to measure you can ask to have the watch wrist made a little bigger to slide over a watch... I find it works well, and in Italy, its fairly common practice.

Goes very well with a suit. Even Milgauss does, and that's taller than GMT.

Try wearing a DeepSea under a dress shirt sleeve.

You should be able to wear it without any problems as they have been worn for years with a suit!!!

Besides being to tall it's a sports watch and they don't go well with a suit. James Bond? I know, I know, but he is a fictional character.

Been wearing my Subs with suits for 20 years. No problems. If you get your shirts custom made, ask for extra cuff room. It makes a difference.

No not at all. I wore mine a few times with the suit and it's fine.

Whether it fits depends on your shirt cuff and suit ofcourse. More importantly do you like how your shirt and/or suit will look with the watch under it. Some may feel that the shirt cuff ends up being unnaturally wide/thick in relation to the hand - gap between wrist and cuff. And many are fine with it.

Wear your typical shirt/suit down to an AD and try one one - and don't be shy about checking out how things look in a mirror.
