Today's AD visit...Going for the hat trick....

I live a long ways away from an AD, so it is not often I get to visit. My last two AD visits resulted in two amazing unicorns.

October: They surprised me with a long awaited SS Blue Sky-Dweller

November: Blew me away with the incredible and fun Deepsea Challenge

Today, December 15th, I will visit again. Could I go three for three? Is a year end hat trick possible?

Anyway, en route now. Not sure which daydream to focus on, thus the silly poll, to accompany this idiotic post.

Get the celebration OP for the wife. She'll love you for it!

Hah, fun thread.

Of your poll options, Le Mans and Ti YM are both in such limited production that I think it is highly unlikely. You didn’t offer many other options, so espresso and chat it is.

Let us know how it turns out!

I had to pick the banned option because it was too funny not to click.

Datejust for the wife or YM (even though I haven’t seen any anywhere yet)

Not all ADs are gonna get any Le mans or Ti YM. Celebration might be relatively more realistic compared to anything else on your list if you want something hard to get . But very likely they will offer you a JC DSSD.

And the winner is:

This audience has been proven wise beyond that of a usual internet forum. I am humbled to report that espresso and laughs were the highlights of today’s visit. No watches were offered for sale. Evidently, I am only a mere mortal after all.

In good news however, they still don’t know about the Ironman.

Wearing the Deepsea Challenge brought a lot to of smiles from staff and customers alike. I swear, if you want to make friends, that’s the watch to wear.

I did get to try on a new display model, white gold SkyDweller on Oysterflex. This is a watch I dislike in pictures but in usual Rolex fashion it is absolutely perfect on the wrist. I have included the obligatory pictures below, which won’t do it justice. It’s gorgeous on the flesh.

Thank you all for playing along and sending good vibes…most appreciated. Best of luck to you on your next AD visit.

Fun thread...as opposed to the usual moaning about AD visits.

Thanks for taking us along.

Couldn't agree more, tried the WG Sky on Oysterflex 1 month ago; stunning but was not for sale, can not get it out of my head ever since. Your wrist size?

7.75” might have held the camera a bit close, didn’t consider perspective at the time.

it always costs a lot when a Rolex gets stuck in the head.

Glad you enjoyed OP, and any SkyDweller is better than no SkyDweller. But there is only one Luke Sky-Dweller.
