Datejust II with blue dial

I spotted these two in a Rolex dealer's window during my stay in Paris recently.

Really quite impressive in the flesh, especially that dark blue dial version. If only that bezel was a little narrower.

WOW what a great shot... more like this would be fabulous from members here!

Paul, which branch or AD chain was this featured in? I am located in the south west and have been on a waiting list for one for some time now

PM me if you are willing to provide details

The bezel fits the watch when you wear it for a bit....

I thought it looked a bit off when I saw the pics, in person
not as bad and got it on for a hour or two and it was just so right!

I haven't seen the watch yet but I tend to agree. The DJII pulls it off being sporty thus the wider bezel is no disturbance (to me at least).
I can't wait to see one in real.

Djii

Have been in Hong Kong for the last week and had the opportunity to try on 3 of the latest 41mm DJII. The one that smiled at me the most was the dark blue dial. Was offered it at approx £4,000 but not knowing the UK list price was unable to pull the trigger. HK is great for watches as they have an amazing amount of stock.

Nice shot Paul and thanks a lot!!! I am already in trouble with that watch... (it's starting to sing to me, never mind I can't afford another Rolex) and with shots like that I won't have a chance as soon as one becomes available at my AD. Hope you're ready for me to move in after I can't pay my mortgage... what time is dinner?

I saw both of those at my Local AD over the weekend when I was buying my White dial SS Daytona. The pics don't do them justice, they looked great on my wrist. Also tried on the Platinum DDII with the light blue dial, and I fell in love with it. Might need to consolidate one if these days and pick that baby up.

I actually found myself salivating, forgive me.

The grey and the blue- will this desire ever subside?

Thanks for the post.

All of those watches were great, but I like the color on the Blue Sub better.

The blue colour really makes this watch pretty sporty and sorta 'un-old-mans-watch'
