Accuracy in question - 2023 Submariner Starbucks

Hi,

I’m new to this forum and would appreciate your input.

I have recently received a 2023 Submariner Starbucks MK2 and was wondering if anybody else had taken the time to test its accuracy?

Thank you

It's a mechanical time piece.

Your watch will have a different accuracy (though within tolerances) to the next one that was made.

Though you can still track the accuracy of your watch

Never tested the accuracy of any coffee but if you are talking about a Rolex 126610 LV. Its as accurate as any Rolex movement as they are all tested to a precision of -2+2 seconds. But depending on wearing habits could vary almost daily slightly considering there are 86400 seconds in a day.

There is no issue, I’m actually just blown away by how accurate it is. I have tested it over two months and it’s loosing .2 seconds a day. I have had a GMT Master 2, YM2, Datejust and while they have all been incredible none have come close to this level of accuracy.

A 2023 Rolex!.....it's basically brand new and has recently left the factory. It's working as it should imo, so I'm not surprised by its accuracy? This is Rolex's "talent" and what they are known to do!

Accuracy in question - 2023 Submariner Starbucks

All new Rolex watches should run at -2 to +2 seconds per day! So, your watch is running, as it should. Congrats, by the way. Great reference!

I also have a 2023 Sub and it's running -1.28 spd, daily wearing it. My YM40 purchased early last year was about the same, and with the same 3235 movement, and is now running dead nuts on right at 0.0 after a year and a half. I'm using Atomic Time on Android to track it.

All rolex watches are COSC certified, meaning they are guaranteed to perform +/-2s/day. All of my pieces run within +1s/day, and if you know how mechanical watches work, you can keep them near "dead" accurate based on how you set them down on the nightstand at night.

The old timers here will attest to the same.

Cost is -4 to +6. Rolex “Superlative Chronometer” rating is -2 to +2.

A £10 digital watch will keep better time. You don’t buy Rolex if you want precise timing.

Cosc is an AVERAGE of 6 positions 4 to -6 spd no guarantee it will run like that in the real world. Superlative is +2/-2 but once cased. However, this is an average and so a watch can come from the factory having passed yet can be slightly out of this spec. All of my mechanicals (126300, 116610 and SMP master coaxial) are slightly slow. About -2-3 spd. More annoying on the seamaster as metas guarantees it to 0-5 spd fast. Not worth taking in though.

Mine is +2.5, 260 amp. Pretty disappointing, tbh.

I’ll bet your others don’t have the latest movement. All mine do, and all are within the new specs. Congrats on your beautiful Starbucks.

Nope. My Planet Ocean is only +1 per day. The AD said to bring the sub back if it gets worse.
