My Daytona Journey in one pic - Started 2008

A celebration of my recent 126506 allocation. Did a group shot this morning! Daytona is my favourite reference, it’s been a long road to the platinum. For me it’s a sense of persistence and achievement! Hope you like the picture, I’m no photographer ! Happy holidays.

That’s an incredible journey and fantastic set of Daytona references. Daytona is my favorite Rolex reference as well.

That's an impressive collection of Daytona's. Seems like you just need an Everose or yellow gold one to cover all the bases. OP, outside of the Platona, which is your favorite reference you have? The white gold on Oysterflex is underrated.

Great quartet. How do you plan to wear the Platona in the rotation - e.g., special occasions or an everyday kind of wear?

The 116520 is the most special as it was my first one, kindly sourced through a fellow forum member all them years back from an AD in Dundee. The oysterflex is probably the one I wear the most. As it’s be said before it’s under the radar ish being on rubber. I nearly sold this! to help fund the platona, so glad I didn’t.

That’s a great quartet and really diverse for staying within one model. Lots of versatility among them.

That's a beautiful sight to see! Grail collection of non gold color Daytonas for sure! Beautiful photo. If you can secure a LeMans Daytona to join the family next, that would be the ultimate!

Congrats! Thanks for sharing. Happy Holidays to you too.

Gorgeous!!

I think you need at least one "colored" PM Daytona to round out the collection!

Thanks for sharing such a beautiful pic!

Wow…. Dream collection.

Like you, got the 116500 white face and 116519 - one day, maybe, the platinum, but not betting on it

Ha, just to note they didn’t come from the same AD. The white 116500 had to go grey, before prices went crazy. All the others were From AD’s with a good sprinkle of luck 🍀.
