Incoming. My turn, Yes!!!!!
Walked into my AD late this am. No purchase history but have done a few repairs. Have gone in about 4 times over the last year or so to express interest. No way on 41mm OP Celebration, No way on GMT BLRO/Jubilee, has not seen any in a few months. About a month ago went into store and tried on the Sub LV, MK 2 bezel(Exhibition piece). I thought the green was out of this world and really liked the black dial. So he added me to the list. Walked in today, spoke to one of the owners, after a while he asked me if I had a few minutes. The other brother finished up with a customer and came over to me. We talked a few minutes and then he wanted to know if I wanted to walk out of the store with the watch on my wrist. Easy answer. He told me that a shipment just came in this am (Friday) and the watch had not been allocated yet so since I was there, BINGO! He also dispelled the rumors about watches coming into the AD's just on Fridays, although this piece came in today. He told me shipments arrive any day of the week.
I almost pulled the trigger a few weeks ago and was going to go gray, but decided to hold on. I knew I would go into the store one of these days so would give it last ditch effort. Both brothers (owners) are going to W & W next week, so looking forward to that. So here it is, my camera shot does not do justice to the deep green on the bezel. I really cannot stop looking at it. |
