Incoming…3 times the fun!

It’s been a fantastic 2024 so far. Celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in March and have had 3 great incomings.

1. Cartier Tank Solarbeat - we picked up his and hers Solarbeats - Small and Large - and had them engraved for our 10th wedding anniversary.
Love the Tank…what a versatile piece! Have worn it with a suit, smart casuals, jumpers, and shorts+tee. Never looks out of place.

2. Seiko SPB381 - picked this up at Narita airport taking advantage of the weak Yen. Been eyeing this piece for a while and got it at a great price. Great value for the price. My only gripe is the jangly clasp.

3. And finally, today, my AD came through with and Explorer 2 black dial. Fits my wrist so well!

Would be good to see a wrist shot or two of the Solarbeat please? I’d quite like to add one to my collection, but haven’t been able to try one for size…would be interested to hear your thoughts in terms of how it wears.

Congrats!! Love the Seiko. I have the SPB207, it's the green dial prior to that GMT.

Congrats! Great watches! Love the new Exp II.

How are you liking the Seiko? I really like those but haven’t seen one in person or seen another person pick one up oddly. I thought they would be pretty popular, but just haven’t seen many.

Love the Seiko! My first Seiko to boot! The dial just pops; and the case profile when viewed on wrist is almost like the SD43. I haven’t seen anyone else wear one either…tried it on a few times but refrained from pulling the trigger until a week ago.

Will do in a day or two…in the middle of a house move this weekend. I have a 7-inch wrist and the Large was just perfect! The Tank has a straight case (no curves hugging the wrist) so the Extra-Large Quartz just felt too big. The Large was just right and I actually love the look with shorts and a tee.

I also have the SPB207, definitely one I’ll keep. Such a beautiful green diver!

Awesome! Really a cool watch! I’ll have to track one down. Thanks for the feedback. Really surprised there haven’t been more of them around. Congrats again.
