So it begins - green DJ waitlist
Was out of town and walked into Rolex AD (new to me since I moved). Took the opportunity to finally put myself down for the green dial 36mm DJ that ive narrowed things down to.
Had a good impression there. Let’s see how it goes and how long it takes. I was impressed in that the person actually took my info down including my drivers license. So I’d think they are serious. I’m not in a rush. So we’ll see what happens. It’s a good distance from where I live now and we talked about that and that I was willing to leave it to them to source it and me driving up at that point. |

Make sure to keep following up. In person meetings too on occasion. Don’t assume they’ll call you in a year if this was your only time chatting with them.

36mm should be easier than 41 I’d think. Be politely persistent with your follow up and something good might come out the other side. Best of luck!

I think 36 is a very popular cross size. So I think it’s a little harder honestly.

Nice watch, and--fortunately--would think that you will be able to get that from an AD without too much of a wait. Hope so and good luck to you!

Thanks everyone. Hopefully not too long. AD confirmed the green dial is popular. 36 or 41 both in demand at the moment. I’ll find out I guess.
I think he understood my situation and that I live a good 4 hours away and won’t be walking in constantly. Confirmed everything via email. So that’s somewhat encouraging. |

It’s a beautiful dial. Luckily, I was able to acquire a 31mm for my wife before all the hype on the mint dial. Goodluck!

Been waiting for this one for 6 months now and AD emailed last week saying I can now put a deposit on the 36mm datejust but not the green one!
That's the only one I want so I said I'm happy to put down the deposit or even pay in full, but it's only the green dial I'm interested In. Not heard back yet |

Good luck and hope you do better than me!
You made me look back - 2 years this week since I was waitlisted for a sub. I was looking to celebrate the imminent arrival of our son. Time moves on - I’m now sitting on the couch with him watching a cartoon and chatting away while he steals my cookies - still no sub… |

I've been on a waitlist with 3 different ADs for 2 years with my top choice being the 36mm mint green fluted jubilee DJ and still no watch, I thought it would have been easier.
Can't get a simple blue OP 36mm either... |

One AD did tell me a Sub is easier to get over a mint green jubilee/dluted 41. So, things are weird sometimes.

I managed to get a DJ36 Mint Green Smooth Bezel Jubilee Bracelet as a walk in customer. Did I get very lucky? Or has this happened to anyone else? Thanks!

Great choice.
A 36 is def easier than a 41, and also my preferred DJ/DD size. I’m looking forward to the incoming. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
