6216 RM movements are bound together to give enough gear train traction to move the giant minutes hand.

Not unlike the Li cells in a Tesla battery pack.

Honestly I don't know if I would like or hate this look if I saw it in person, but that someone has finally created something very shocking special in this kind of clocks, that's for sure.

I always find it difficult to read the time on RM. This one although bigger, still has the same issue (for me)

Nowadays if you create the design / CAD / etc, it's easy to outsource the manufacturing of parts for large clocks like the RM. You could also 3d print :)
