Tudor Delta Airlines LE

Delta Airlines is celebrating 100 years anniversary with a LE GMT 500 pieces available for their employees this year. Delivery is early next year. Very nice! Also had the 500 pieces Breitling LE anniversary watch last year.

it's online if you google it... on reddit. There are 2 photos. My pilot friend ordered one. Only one per employee. Very nice! Reminds me of the pan am GMT with Rolex from yester years.

I’d be tempted to without even being an employee.

Tudor is killing it. They have such great looking watches. I’m really tempted to pick up one shortly!

Worked for Delta for 17 years. Left along time ago, but this is very cool. If I still worked there I'd be all over it.

If they really wanted to go nuts they should do a quantity of whites for their admin/exec staff. That would be super cool. Stick to the original formula- black for pilots and field crew, white for the execs.

That's the best they could come up with? The exact same dial with a little Delta logo left of center? Seems like them could have been more creative. Wonder if anything on the case back?

The Delta logo isn't centered in either axis. Unless the caseback is engraved for the momentous commemorative, anyone could lift a Delta decal off a toy model.

Not really special - the marketing guru must've been out for a long lunch on the day this got designed.

eh. Adding a Delta logo doesn't impress me. They could have done more.

Interesting. I feel like the Delta logo would pop better on the opaline dial GMT.

I like it. I think the logo is well placed, subtle and matches the 24hr hand.

It's internally ordered according to my pilot friend.

Tudor will engrave the back with a Delta centennial logo.

That's premature since the airline, originally named Delta Air Service, was incorporated on December 3, 1928.

I imagine it might take 4 years to get them all done though.

The company considered 1925 to be the start, be that of another name. Deliveries of the watches will be in the beginning of 2025. The back engraving is supposed to be a surprise to be unveiled when delivery starts. Tudor has the final design.

This is pretty cool.

All the airlines have slid in terms of quality and value, some more than others (looking at you Southwest), but I like Delta more than the others and try to fly it when it makes sense.

I’d buy one if I could.

I like it, good for Delta

I don't see any real connection that would make this anniversary for Delta item's, future value any more than the many other logo variants out there.
