Unexpected Pink Incoming..

Another novelty I hope to be adding to the collection...the Tudor Chronograph Pink Limited Edition. Have there been any other incomings of this model at all?

I'm hearing September is when they will be available (to VIPs)... My contacts seem to believe this won't be as limited of a release as people seem (i.e., if you wait long enough and have a good spend history you should generally be able to obtain one with time).

Very nice. How do you like it? Apparently UK is getting one production run of just 33 watches and that’s it.

I wish I knew how many of these will actually be made. The A/D I purchased mine at said that this is the only one they are ever getting, and the total production run is going to be 100, world wide. It's a cool watch actually. I was a little skeptical at first - I thought it was going to be a brighter pink. It has kind of a lavender tint to it too. It took a day or two to get used to, but I really like it now. It'll see quite a bit of wrist time.

It looks very similar if not identical to the OP lacquered pink.

That looks a little cool indoors but looks great in the sun.

This is more like other people's incoming thread than OP's unexpected incoming.

The title suggests that OP has acquired the Pink Tudor watch but he hasn't.

Thanks for that. I really didn’t get it. Doh! As for the watch, I wish they made a smaller one. I would wear that.

I like this and discussed with an SA in a Tudor only boutique. His overall impression was “I don’t really know, our rep hasn’t said much.” I would buy one but not jump through any hoops for it.
If Tudor really does make only a handful and plays a “VIP card” they will have truly jumped the shark. It’s a readily available chronograph with a different colored dial not haut horology.

Don't underestimate the power of this type of marketing where only celebrities are given the watches. It's already being sold for $20k+ in the grey/secondary market.

Yeah, it's like the Tiffany OP41 situation but worst.

$20k seems ridiculous no matter how many they allocate.

My regular UK Tudor AD called yesterday to say they were willing to offer me the one they are getting if I could get back to the UK this weekend.

Will be picking it up later today assuming my flights are on time and everything checks out.

I am off to Miami July 8th and it will be going with me so good timing!

I would expect limited will suddenly become ‘unlimited’ with the passing of time. Tudor is a machine built to shift volumes of watches and if demand is there they will supply. Wait and see.

Think the same - There has been a few references where the "ship has sailed" and then suddenly they are available everywhere.

We’re on the same page. I like Tudor, have owned three, but I don’t think their place in the watch hierarchy rates a model similar to an off Catalogue Rolex model.

Picked mine up today.

The five link is amazing on this case, really softens off the look.

Stickers off and on the wrist!
