Need help!!
So I have the black dial all Gold Sky Dweller 2021 and I’m being offered a trade for new 5/2024 blue dial all gold sky dweller. A new shade of blue? That’s what I’m told. Thoughts on the difference in price?

All depends on what you can get for yours...
You are obviously going to have to add money to trade but you haven't told us how much. Only you can decide if its worth the extra money to you. While the Sky-Dweller is not a watch for me if I was getting one Id rather the new blue over the black FWIW.

So the broker wants $65k or my watch and $30k. I’m really new to this and am open to suggestions. Is $65k a good deal for the Rose? I have about $40k in my gold black dial. So he’s offering my $35k that seems a little low. I could buy the Rose … try to negotiate it to $62ish and then sell mine for $40-45(is that possible) I’m open to suggestions.
I like the Sky because of size. My wrist 8 1/4 “ again I’m new to this and appreciate the last comment about more information. Not sure if this helps. |

Need help!!
Thanks for the additional info.
The trade deal he offered sucks - just no other way to put it. The cash price is in line with trusted sellers here - but can that seller be trusted? My thought is to enjoy what you have, drive over to Margaritaville FMB and spend the weekend with the money you just saved taking my advice! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Trying reaching out to one of the forum dealers here like DavidSW, OCRolexGuy etc etc.
You will probably do better and be able to buy with total confidence

Not a fair deal to you. I prefer the black dial to the blue and you would only be paying for he new dial. Keep what you have and enjoy.

No way I'd go that route. Your PM Sky + 30k for another PM Sky is crazy talk.
Keep your watch and use that 30k to buy something else. |

That's a bloody awful offer. Even if you are desperate for the blue RG, you can do better than that.

These are the days we're living in...two watches 3k apart in MSRP are being offered for 30k difference on a trade in.
As others have said, you can try shopping that number around here with the forum's trusted sellers, but in the end, I think you're still looking at a significant cash top off on your end. So...in answer to your question, for me these type situations come down to bang for your buck...and I think you're the only one who can answer that. Good luck, |

I’m not a Sky-Dweller guy, so I don’t know …
did the 2021 Yellow Gold Sky-Dweller come with a Blue Dial option ? If so, you could have the Rolex Service Center change your Black Dial for a Blue Dial (for a fee + a service), after the expiration of your Warranty (5 years ?). A service and a dial swap for ~$1,000 If the Blue Dial was not offered in your watch, they will not do it. If you prefer Everrose Gold over Yellow Gold, all you can do is buy the watch you want, and maybe look at selling your watch for a better price. It seems somewhere between where you bought it and the current sales price would be a good start. |

That sounds like a terrible deal. Don’t do it! The black Skydweller is very nice. In a few years, when watch is out of warranty, get it serviced, and just do a dial swap. Save thousands of dollars! Kat Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

No way, unless you're in Jeff Bezos' income bracket and must have a blue dial.
