Milgauss GV on a Nato strap

Hi - first Rolex, and first post to the forum.

I know some of you guys are big fans of the Nato look - I really liked the Sub and Explorer on a Nato and it inspired me to give my GV a run with some Nato straps...I like the look - gives much more of a tool look for the GV.

Interested in your thoughts...

I have to say I'm a fan of the nato strap, however I don't think it works with this watch.

I think it kinda enhances the rounded 1950s classic shape of the watch - my photos don't show that well enough.

The Milgauss (and the Explorer 1) feel like the most non obvious Rolex - quite subtle except when that sapphire flashes

I was drawn to the Milgauss because of the classic 50s appearance and tool nature of the design, and the not widely recognizable shape/face.

On a Nato, the Milgauss is totally transformed from quite a dressy watch into a much more classic tool Rolex imho.

JJ's flipped more watches than you've had NATOs.

I love NATOs and I would not have guessed they'd work on a Milgauss... but I have to say it looks pretty cool. Thanks for the pics

The Milgauss looks best on the green. A 'military' feel to it.

Nice, but IMHO takes away from the very classy look of the Milgauss :(

Stick to a Sub on a nato ;)
