Rolex date just mint green 41mm measurements

Hi,
I’m looking at buying this Rolex date just 41mm
I’m just concerned that it may not be authentic.
The measurements for the dial is 39.3mm.

It is brand new, I’m just worried that isomething is wrong as it’s not 41mm bezel.
Can I get some input on this.

Thanks

Your measurement is correct

It was never 41mm. Rolex just markets it that way.

The watch is a mint green face. Could it be that’s it’s a dj1 and not a djII
Please help me in this.
Cheers

That’s the correct measurement. Closer to 39mm when measured across 3 and 9.
Good luck!

So the bezel size is not meant to be 41mm?

No, nor is the case. The width of the case from 10-4 is nearly exactly what you measured

The old DJII were actually 41 mm in diameter. But the DJ41 shrunk it down

The Day Date 40 is roughly 38 mm by the way. These are the games that Rolex plays.

So is this watch’s measurements correct?
Sitting at 39.3mm?
Is that the new model or old model?
As the seller has said it’s brand new

Yes correct

Yes it's a new model Datejust 41

The older model was the Datejust 2

So if it’s 39.3mm would it be safe to say it’s a DJ41
As the seller is saying it’s brand new. Is that the new model date just dimensions?

I appreciate all you guys for assisting

Remember, buy the seller. If you can trust the seller, you can trust the authenticity of the watch.

Bezel diameter is 39.X if you measure from 2 to 8 which includes part of the case it is 41mm.
