Clasp spring broken?

Hi All, the clasp spring of my Turn-o-Graph is broken: the half clasp that you pull up with the nail to open it is loose and does not offer any resistance. I have several other Rolexes but never experienced this type of failure! Any idea if you can repair it? Is it an easy job? Thanks!

Almost everything can be repaired, adjusted, and replaced.

Unfortunately, your description could apply to dozens of different clasps with a different solution, depending on the actual issue.

Pics please. Inclined to think what you’re referring to is a rivet and not a “spring” bar.
