(Another) Got the call!
Apologies for creating another one of these threads, but I got the call for my GMT Master II (126713GRNR) after about a year of waiting. I can pick it up tomorrow. So freaking happy! :)
The only snag, my girlfriend won't be back until next week and she wants to pick it up with me :) The secondary snag, my AD goes on maternity leave on Friday this week and she's been really good to me with this and an OP for my son and I'd like to pick it up from her so I can thank her again but she obviously won't be in next week. I think I'm going to have to go in tomorrow and maybe pay for it then get it sized and collect it next week with my girlfriend! :) |

Well the AD made the decision on that anyway - they came back and said they can only hold it 48 hours and cannot hold it after purchase or its not properly insured, so I'll be picking it up tomorrow :)

So I picked up from the AD this morning. I’m genuinely blown away by how incredible this looks and feels in person. It didn’t need any sizing adjustments at all. The AD did a great handover, I really appreciate the unrushed experience I’ve had picking up both my watches, it’s the icing on the cake.
Oh and the girlfriend? We Facetimed her in for part of it 😂 |
