116500 versus 126518LN - which to get?
Hi Guys,
Just toying with either as my next watch: Daytona Panda 116500 - been offered one for 21K full-set 2017 model. Or keep waiting for the call 126518LN in the champagne gold colour with black subdials. (won't call it by it's Pokémon name but we know what it is) Current price at the moment is 27.8k I got the call for the Paul Newman on OF last year and passed on it as I really want my first choice config. It's now gone through 2 price rises since then. Should I not get it by the end of this year, I will probably come off the list as I can't justify the next price increase. There is a chance the Panda could drop even further tbh as well. Opinions welcome please. |

It reads as though you favour the Daytona on oysterflex but I could be wrong?
If you fancy a SS Daytona, there is currently 1 for sale via the TZ forum by an established member and at a decent price for a 2019 model FT: 116500LN Rolex Daytona https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/top...ink_source=app If you do favour the oysterflex gold model then I would recommending going for what you truly want as you won’t be fully satisfied otherwise Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would rather get the OF Daytona at retail price from AD vs second hand and grey market price on the 116500.

I can't view that link as I'm not a member on there and they have disabled registration but could you tell me the price? Thanks.
You are correct tho, I do feel the OF gold is pretty much grail level for me. Not to say the panda isn't as I truly think it's a stunning watch and I've never had it before but had the 116520, 116503, 16520 previously. I am on the list for the new one but of course I have no expectations that I will ever get the call for one. Should the Panda keep dropping, it makes it very tempting. |
