Thanks for reading my post.

Last week I acquired a 18238 Day Date. It's yellow gold and has a black diamond dial. It was the head only, so now I have the adventure of finding the perfect strap. I have several, but I want ideas that will really make this thing pop, yet looks classy.

I have a couple of light brown/tan straps, I also put it on a black suede strap and am quite pleased with that look. I have a black croc strap too.

What are your thoughts or suggestions? This is the fun side of a purchase like this to me. I may go with a red wine croc strap, maybe a stingray strap that is black or gray.

Pics would be amazing, but any and all suggestions are welcome!!

I have a super cool black stingray strap for my Speedmaster from Aaron Bespoke. I would go with that or a shiny black croc/gator/ostrich.

Maybe a nice black leather..
I’d also prob keep an eye for the president bracelet.

Any black type dress strap will look great.

I’d want to source the bracelet tho, that’s what makes the reference IMHO

I'd keep an eye out for a President bracelet or source a proper croc strap with the deployant clasp from Rolex.

Your DD36 is very small in today’s jumbo sized watch world - but perfect as a dress watch!
What would really make that watch look very dressy, would be putting on an authentic Rios brand Black Crocodile strap - It’s sharp and not too glossy……….

If you want something special, go custom. Pricing is pretty fair IMO. I don't know if I'm allowed to mention names here? But I get mine in Montreal Canada. Worth every dime. You can literally pick anything, all details.
