Nice dashboard. Bentayga? I vaguely remember you can even spec those clocks with a Tourbillon in them!

Curious how the weight of the new Platona feels in comparison to the Pt backed one? Have you owned both? If so, how do they compare?

My dearly departed Mom and Dad gave me this Submariner homage dive watch on my birthday 60 years ago today. This is the watch that started me collecting.

Happy Sunday Lee
I have not owned or even seen one with a solid caseback. As far as it’s weight goes, it is heavy but I’ve gotten used to it and I find it very comfortable.

I owned the solid caseback one for four years before I decided to move it on. I finally came to grips with it being work to wear it.

That’s very interesting, I had the same sentiment about the 41 LB WG sub. No matter how I adjusted the clasp I could never get comfortable with it on my wrist. I also moved on with it. Once I got the bracelet right on this one it’s never a bother to wear it.
