Rolex GMT Master II 16710 question
Education curve please - saw in local store GMT Master II Coke 16710. Its crown has one solid line under the coronet. Is it legit, or? I have 116710ln with tree dots under the coronet. My question is - when did Rolex started to put three dots (triplocks) on GMT Master watches? Hope my question is clear.

Triplocks on the GMT Master 2 started with the 116710LN

Correct - Triplock (sub/daytona crown) was added to the GMT line at the beginning of the ceramic era (circa 08’).
The 16710 in question would have a twin lock crown as per your description, and is period correct.

Just FYI the twinlock crown on the 16710 is smaller than triplock crown on the 116710
