Incoming: Again, Rolex 116610LV, "The Hulk"

After selling the Rolex 116610LV, The Hulk, awhile back I decided to buy it back. I have always liked the watch and have owned it least four or five times over the years. The motivation to sell it last time, money. I think I was in it for around 7k and got in the high teens. I have always liked the colors, especially the dial and how it looks in various light conditions. The watch wears great on my wrist and I am a huge Submariner fan. I have been looking for a while for a good example and found a 2019 version that was complete and in excellent condition from DavidSW. I gave back all my money from the last sell and maybe just a little bit more. Does it hurt to do that? Not at all, as I got the watch I wanted. Lesions learned, none. I will continue to buy/sell/trade as I choose and in the end I do like my watches. So what is next, looking for a YG Submariner either with the Blue or Black Dial. This would give me three, ND/Hulk/YG. We will see. Until then, really liking the Hulk back on my wrist.

Congrats, always the same story with the Hulk. Sell Hulk then regret then buy again.

There will never again be a RIGHT DEAL for the hulk.
Unfortunately, I’m a sucker for that watch. It’s probably top three on my must have list so I’m going to be paying out the nose for it.

Congrats!

Amazing you did that. I’m jealous. I got onto these too late at the point when they were discontinued. I will consider a trade for one sometime. Good job!!

You made the right move. It is what it is in regards to the market going up or down. I’ve always wanted one and sold my 126 Sub to get an unpolished full set from Recaro18 in the middle of last year. And it works well w a blue dial Sub too. I have a flat blue dial bluesy and the both of them side to side really works well.

Outstanding, bought me a hulk to go with my Bluesey, No date Sub, and daytona a couple of weeks ago. Love it.

Also looking at a Yachtmaster...though leaning towards titanium if I could find one remotely affordable...course there is always a vintage 5513 also.
