Genuine Rolex leather straps

Hello fellow ‘watchers’

I am an avid Rolex guy with about 20 pieces. I sometimes wonder how some of them will look with a lovely leather strap instead of the original stainless, gold or Oysterflex too. I have searched for them online but only come up with rubbish on eBay etc. Do any of you know where i can buy nice to at least good leather straps , mainly 20m?
Thank you,

I ordered mine from an AD. The only Rolex product I have purchased from an AD in the last 20 years.

I’d just go to the AD, brand new and no question of authenticity

True except they can’t give you the strap if it never came with the watch you have. So based on what the OP is saying, it wouldn’t be possible and he has to use a third party.

Genuine Rolex straps are a thing of beauty. I purchased one for my 118135 from Rolex St James London. Its Alligator Dark Brown, costly though at GBP £320.

I purchased a leather strap with 18k buckle for a watch originally with a gold bracelet.

When? And was it an option for for that reference even if yours originally came on gold bracelet?

It was 15 years ago; why would it be different?
Not an option.
I don’t believe they even asked which model.
I just gave them the mm width.
Even asked if I wanted 18k or plated.

Things have unfortunately changed. Parts are really being done on an exchange only basis and had to be offered with the watch to even be ordered. If a part is in stock it has to be put on by the dealer (though I guess this isn’t hard to not do) but must be logged into the system with the serial number. If there was an audit the authorized dealer would get in a lot of trouble. The good old days of parts floating around left and right from authorized dealers or watchmakers with parts accounts are over
