Has anyone noticed

I Have been noticing that the new TT Sub, The DSSD, The GMTIIc, and the LV all Have the Big Lume or maxi type dial , which leads me to my question . If the new Sub also has the maxi type dial ( which I think it probably will )
what then will be the difference from The sub and the LV. just the dial color, ceramic? anyone else think about this?

Since the SS version of the ceramic Sub isn't out yet, there's really not anything we can compare, but only speculate. Who is not to say that there won't be a green ceramic dial SS Sub?

I have no doubt an upgraded Sub is on the horizon. Some that are close to the flag pole have said Bazel 2010. That said, aside from the maxi dial (the direction Rolex seems to have gone) the major difference (bezel aside) will be the case.

The LV represents the only modern sports model that features the maxi dial combined with the classic size case. Some have refered to it as a "transitional" model.

Is a ceramic GREEN in the future?? I have no idea, but the current one stands alone.

I think the new 116610 will be identical to the 116613, It would be nice if it retained the fully brushed bracelet. The LV is a special version of the current 16610, to me it dosn't seem logical to continue it. If they'd only made it for the one anniversary year as lots of people expected imagine the value it would of had, and not to Rolex they would of been selling at a massive premium within months.

Just got back from Mayor's jeweler's in Miami and I noticed while looking at the TT Sub ceramic and the TT GMT II C that the numbers on the bezel appeared to look almost like a cream color, when I asked about it The sales men told me that the numbers are 24K gold Not 18K, 18K on bracelet and 24 k gold on bezel numbers. anyone care to comment on this ?

In addition to the answers already posted, the new Sub will have the Glidelock clasp, which is a big step forward in terms of quality

+1 I fully agree! The clasp is the one part of my watch that disappoints.

I expect the LV to go the way of the Pepsi GMT when the ceramic Sub is released.

I also expect the ceramic Sub to have the maxi dial and the glide-lock bracelet.

Rolex already has a green ceramic for the GMT II c gold and rare but available tt. Therefore I would guess that since they have developed a green ceramic they will use it on the subs. Just a guess. I have heard that Rolex has had some issues developing certain colors of the ceramic.
