Collecting by range… (GMT content)
After recently picking up a GMT GRNR (black/grey bezel on Oyster), I now have amassed a 3 x GMT collection. BLNR, BLRO and GRNR. I wear them all on rotation. It appears I have found my favourite watch style…
I also have a panda Daytona, a few IWCs, a couple of Breitlings… but to be honest, the GMTs get 99% of the wrist time. So it got my thinking, does anyone else just settle on one watch style (like I appear to have) and collect based on that? If so, would love to see some photos… GMT collections, Daytona collections etc. |

GMT's for me as well. I have the VTNR, CHNR and BLNR along with the Tudor GMT with the opaline dial. The Tudor and the BLNR get the bulk of wear these days, but the rotation changes regularly.

Nice collection of GMT Master II’s my friend.
I only have one GMT Master, but I feel the same way about the complication. I have a BLNR, 226570 Polar, Tudor BBGMT, and GS SBGM221. I’d love to add another GMTII with a splash of PM !!! |

So far I still have only one GMT, though there are certainly other versions on my radar.

I have 2 - BLNR's (one for each son) 1 - VTNR ( I'm a lefty) and a Tudor GMT w/Blue dial.
I wear the VTNR almost daily. Rotate the BLNR's maybe 1 day every 2-3 weeks. The Tudor I gifted to one son already. |

GMT’s are fabulous watches and you have got a great collection of them. If you like the look of a certain reference then buy more I say. Your collection looks like it could do with a vintage piece or two

I did the collection based on Rolex Divers at one point. I had a SS ND, Date, DSSD, YG Submariner both Blue and Black Dial and the WG Submariner Smurf. After a short while I switches it up and went in another direction. It was more fun putting that collection together than it was actually owning and wearing it.

I only have one GMT Master. It gets the most wrist time out of a collection numbering 21 but I wouldn't be without any of hem.

I got my BLRO first. Then was offered a BLNR and picked that up and have just acquired a VTNR. I have both Oyster and Jubilee bracelet so can swap them out between each watch which is pretty cool.
Definitely a lot of redundancy but I do love the GMT range. I’m not really interested in the GRNR So won’t be adding anymore.

This is me. I’m a fan of the root beer, but the blro is already in the stable.
