24 Rolex watches in 29 years of madness!!
Yes, guys......this new TT GMT-IIC happens to be #24 in the long line-up of Rolex models I've ever owned going way back to October 1980 when I purchased my very first TT DJ on Jubilee 16013.
I've owned virtually every model except for the DD and the Daytona.....and maybe a few others!! Now down to just 3!! Cheers - JJ

Wow JJ
Imagine if you kept them all...your collection would be approaching Larry's no?
You have a nice set now, that's for sure. Classic to new, with something in between. I am wrestling with waiting until I can afford a white-dial Daytona or finding that Coke GMT. GMT is different enough from a Sub, no? |

Well, I have a diver / sub, Pilot / Speedmaster Pro and soon a classic GMT. I really don't "need" a Daytona. But it's not about "need" is it?!?!?! ;-)

Wow, 24 matches in 29 years, that is a fair turnaround. I guess i am just the opposite: I tend to keep my watches, but take my time making a decision to buy. I hope you continue to enjoy your GMT.

JJ, that is an impressive number! I tend to keep mine as well, but it's cool you've been able to try so many models and vintages.
Your TT IIc suits you well. It has a nice touch of class and is just flat beautiful...one of the best two tones Rolex has ever made, IMO. Wear it in good health! |

You with watches and me with wives. While I may had had a little more fun, you at least have your sanity and retirement fund in place.

Oh and that is one hell of a lot of shifts and change JJ. Impressive. I hope these commitment issues only apply to watches? We won't go into animate but only stuck to inanimate ... And by the looks of your earlier post re the dedication to your car it seems watches are it ?
