I believe not making that trade was the right choice! Re neo vintage? It’s like because of a sapphire crystal it can never be vintage. How old is old enough for this Sub? Tritium dial,lug holes, non SEL bracelet with that pressed clasp!! Vintage in my book! (Of course helps I have an 89 16610) Just sayin .-)

I’m glad you decided against the trade, OP.

I’d suggest having your 16610 Sub serviced by Rolex. It will refresh your old watch. You might just want to keep it when it comes back. And, if not, it won’t hurt to have a full recent service should you sell or trade.

If you’re still hankering for a no date Sub, consider the excellent Tudor Black Bay 58. It would compliment your Sub Date, yet give you something completely new, but with the qualities that draw you to the 14060.

I just bought one and am very pleased. That’s coming from someone with both the 16610 and 14060M. The Tudor holds its own in that crowd.
