Tim, is this for a modern Rolex or a 4 or 5 digit? I've heard that position doesn’t make a difference for modern Rolex..... just curious.

This works for my 5513, but doesn't seem to make much of a difference on my DJ2 or Deep Blue. Just curious what your experience is.

Brian, it's my 14060M, about 3 1/2 years old. It's never been out much more than 3/4 second per day no matter what resting position it's in.

For me it works best with four-digit Rolex or any ETA (old or new), Brian. This is why I like ETA movements, I can go for months on end without re-setting my THC or BB, and keep them within a couple of seconds or so of perfect time.

Crown up. My watch will gain time if I'm very active, with crown up it will lose about 1s/night. On it's back there is no time change.

Self regulating still works, just experiment
