Hollywood spotlight? More like Las Vegas spotlight. He loved the stuff, and said it was an elegant libation. He called it Daniels, not Jack or J.D.

Because his fame was only limited to Vegas. He never performed in LA, and no Hollywood star would ever make that pesky 4 hour drive to party with the rat pack in Vegas or vice versa.

I don't really drink but I enjoyed the story and the coolness of owning a whole barrel worth of JD. Very original idea that will bring memories and fun for years.

Wow Chad! This was such a great idea you and your friends had together. The experience sounded as good or even better than the whiskey you purchased. It was fun to follow your adventure.

How many bottles will each one of you wind up with?

Thanks for sharing this with us.

Sorry I missed this at the start- congrats Chad. I visited the distillery years ago but you definitely got top shelf treatment. Enjoy, in moderation of course

I don't really get the fact that they don't give you the actual barrel, seems odd to me but must be cool, used to drink Jack but with age drink 12year or single malt, less hangover

I was hand-delivered one of these hand-crafted bottles today by none other than Rolex Addict!! I can't wait to get this fabulous decanter home and opened for a first taste!!

Chad, thank you for the wonderful gifts - it was great to see you again and am mesmerized by that beautiful HULK you were wearing today (G should look into getting one!)

Until next time my friend!

The bottle says "Best served with friends."

It was slit between three of us. We got 11 cases each. That should last a while.

And lunch was awesome. Highly recommend Seasons 52 in Dunwoody.

I am interested to know how the cost compares to buying an equivalent amount of bottles? Is this a reason to buy a barrel (say if you run a bar) or is it purely for the experience?
